Last week, I was honored to be invited to perform at the creative meeting gala organized by my colleagues from the Pedagogy of Visual and Decorative Arts. I had an amazing time playing music from the soundtrack of the radio play “The Sultan’s Dream in Babadag”. It was a great experience to be able to collaborate with such talented individuals and showcase the love for music. The event was held in partnership with the Museum of Art in Constanța and the Department of Art Pedagogy at UNArte. It was a series of creative meetings that brought together students from different faculties to explore their creative potential. I was thrilled to be a part of this initiative and contribute to its success. As a musician, I believe that music has the power to bring people together and create a sense of unity. My performance was a testament to this belief. I performed music from the soundtrack of “The Sultan’s Dream in Babadag”, a radio play that explores the themes of love, passion, and the pursuit of dreams. It was a pleasure to share this music with the audience and witness their appreciation for it. One of the pieces was adapted for the Turkish instrument, mey. The mey is a traditional woodwind instrument that is widely used in Turkish music. It has a unique sound that is both haunting and beautiful. The piece I played showcased the versatility of the instrument and its ability to convey emotions in a powerful way. Overall, the creative meeting gala was a wonderful experience that allowed us to showcase our passion for music and connect with fellow artists. I am grateful to my colleagues from the Pedagogy of Visual and Decorative Arts for inviting me to be a part of this event. It was an honor to contribute to the success of this initiative and inspire others to explore their creativity.
